We Are Wind and We Dream & Struggle Together are created through free-motion embroidery, water dissolvable stabilizer, and stitching densely to create individual units. These works expand on my practice of drawing by releasing the stitched mark from its support and using these separate units to create site specific wall drawings. In the work We Are Wind, individual seeds accumulate and disperse, similar to the connections we form with others, be it family, friends, or acquaintances. We gather together for a while, then part.
