The watercolor triptychs explore underlying growth patterns in nature. Of the six growth patterns identified, I explored the spiral, or helix, branching, and meandering.

Science reveals that a particle structure -- and now possibly strings -- compose all matter, even space and time. The influence of particles and how they accumulate provides me with the process for my watercolor paintings- building my surfaces a particle and a layer at a time.
